Minecraft for Windows 10 will not connect to a server

Hi to all!

I've bought both Minecraft for windows 10 and android and I've downloaded the server.jar from Minecraft website.

I've configured the server and I'm able to connect from windows 10.

When I try to connect from Android version I receive the error "unable to connect to world".

I've tried multiple times, checked my online settings on the account, restarted both client and server, but I still not be able to play and clearly I'm missing something.

Can you help me?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We'd be happy to help, but we'll need some more information on the issue because not being able to connect to any servers can be the cause of many things.

Do both of you have Minecraft Windows 10? Have you fully restarted your PC and re-installed the game?

Can you check your networks settings in the Xbox app for Windows 10? You need to make sure your NAT type is open and connectivity to Xbox Live is not being blocked.
