Minecraft for Windows 10 Beta locked

Minecraft for windows 10 is locked in the beta version. I never opted in to the Insider program, and I want to play realms with my friends. I've tried joining the insider program and leaving it, then reinstalling. No result. I've tried every solution I could find even down to the windows powershell solution. But it's still locked on 1.13 and I cannot access multiplayer or realms.
