Minecraft for the switch not staying signed on.

I think we figured it out for the most part, thankfully we read the first comment and it works! Delete the saved data.. sign in.. and make sure they close the game each time after playing it. It sounds weird I know but it works.. the only time I have to sign in now is when he forgets to close the game before turning off the console. Hope you all get peace from the “dad can you sign me in”..

My son is having the same issue on his Switch. He needs me to unlock it with the code at least once a day. Does this fix also work for the Switch?

I have had he same issue with my daughters account.

Every time she closes the game for dinner or something, it logs her out of the account.

I have 20 emails giving us the new code. We just stopped signing in

Really need help to figure this out?

Same issue but also kicks us out of the account at random, can be several times a minute and often cant be resolved.

Is there a solution to this???

Hi there Zayne welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I had this issue. I corrected it by deleting the Minecraft save data for the user (System Settings -> Data Management -> Delete Save Data). After doing that, the next login stuck.

Also close the game completely after each play and this won't be an issue. I only have this issue when I suspend the game and try to play after.

I advise you to create a backup on the cloud or on an external drive! This way you won't lose your progress.
