    Why isn't there Minecraft for Chrome OS but the education edition is?

    (I don't know where to put this, so I put it under XBOX games and Apps.)

    why doesn't sea of thieves install on chromebook

    you cannot play windows pc games on chrome os, only via cloud gaming.

    1. the chrome os is incapable of playing installable games as it is a basic os that is not designed for this

    2. the chromebook would not be near powerful enough to play the game.

    there is not a lot we can do when you are using chrome OS and a chrome browser and the site actually works ok for us, apart from clearing your cache, changing dns then it must be something with your connection or your OS, contact google for assistance.

    Minecraft for Chromebooks--Multiplayer. Needed. Now.

    As far as I am aware the is no Minecraft for Chrome Books.

    Minecraft Bedrock (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Android, IOS, Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, Nintendo Switch, Gear VR, Fire OS and Fire TV) all support cross-play with each other.

    Minecraft Java Edition players can only play with other Java players.

    Minecraft Education Edition is only available on Windows 10, MAC OS and IOS. They all support cross-play with each other.

    Mojang chooses what devices their games support, the best place to go would be https://feedback.minecraft.net/ and post your feedback there.

    You are better off with a full desktop os

    Chrome os and chromium isn't made for gaming

    Everything is webbased

    And any NETBOok you buy with it won't have the specs

    Elementary os or any Linux distribution or windows or Mac os is better then webbased
