Minecraft fails to connect to Auth API server on launch

This has become quite a regular issue. I go to launch MC and it's supposedly timing out every time. It'll do this for hours and then "suddenly" stop being a problem until I want to launch it again the next day. Below is a screenshot of the error:

I can open Command Prompt or Powershell and run "ping api.minecraftservices.com" and even get the root web page by putting that link into any browser:

However, MC keeps failing. I have checked my firewall settings, tried different (older) versions of MC, reinstalling MC versions, logging out and back in, restarting my router, and yet nothing is resolving this issue and it seems to be getting worse each day (taking longer and longer to get past this auth error. Any additional troubleshooting that I may have overlooked would be appreciated...

Hello Josef,

This is on Windows 10. I don't have another network I can test on. The NAT type was set to Strict. After doing some research on a fix for this, I found one that reduced it to Moderate, which fixed the issue. I completely forgot about NAT. Much appreciated.

Did you tried using a completely different WiFi network to see if the problem is with your current network?

Also, please double check and tell me what's saying for NAT type
Open the Xbox console companion app > settings > network (if you don't have the app you can download it from the store)

By the way, can you try using a different PC to see if the issue persist?
And is this happening on Windows 10 or 11?

Also when I try to login into any minecraft server it says
Connection Failed: Null

sure there are two types of messages

1. Failed to authenticate your connection.

2.You are not logged into your minecraft account . If you are logged into your minecraft account , try restarting your minecraft client.

btw im able to join cracked servers perfectly fine

just not premiuim servers

Was good since launch. Just threw it in now and said failed to connect to matchmaking server. I usually connect with no probs to the US East. Now its just sitting there. Oh wells, will try tomorrow.
