Random Xbox message?

So, I was playing minecraft earlier and while swimming, a pop-up message came up. Since I was swimming, I was pressing "a" and immediately cleared the message. Anyone know what it could have been? It was the Xbox message, not a minecraft one. I have auto-renew for Live, so it wouldn't be my subscription ending. To be clearer, it wasn't a invite/achievement/friend pop-up, but a like an error message pop-up. I didn't get kicked off, my friend didn't get booted. Anyone have ideas?

Minecraft Update Error

I went to try out Minecraft on xb1 today. I updated it to the latest patch and it freezed my xbox. I shut it down completely and then I restarted the console. Tried to play minecraft again and now the game won't start. Anyone else get this problem?

Which platform are you playing on? Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows 10, Java Edition or Pocket Edition? What error messages are you seeing when you try to load up the game and what troubleshooting steps have you tried to fix it?

Have you tried while connected to xbox live? As the license would be on the previous xbox. Do other games work? Is it only minecraft that gives you the error of it being a trial?

Solution to the problem with your account used in Windows 10:

• Search the '' Xbox Identity Provider '' application in the Microsoft Store;

• Verify that the app is installed and up-to-date;

• If persist in making the app error, create a new user account on the computer.

• Download Minecraft

• Sign in to app Xbox with the account you used to purchase Minecraft

• Log in to Minecraft and access Xbox Live through the game.

• Sign out of your new account, sign in to your account and sign in and play on Xbox Live.
