    Minecraft dungeons hdd to ssd


    Since moving my entire Windows OS system to my SSD I haven't been able to play minecraft dungeons because the Microsoft store "Cannot find the drive" it was initially installed on, and I was hoping it would be fixed with this new launcher, but it now also uses Microsoft's store to download the games so I'm probably never gonna play it ever again because I dont want to reinstall everything just to play minecraft dungens and Yakuza 0 game any suggestions? error code 0x8007007b

    The game isn't detected by the store as "installed" it makes me install it and only gives me the error 0x8007007b saying to install the drive i download to and I also looked for the game all over my SSD and could not be found, what was found was thumbnails to the game and old save data, the game files were nowhere to be seen

    The reason for this is that it is not possible to install games on storage that was used to install games from another system.

    You will need to format this hard drive in order to be able to reinstall games from the Microsoft Store on it.

    You will need to install the games again, the games are encrypted and linked to the system they were installed on.

    My laptop has an SSD and an HDD, would the HDD work instead of the external hard drive? Windows 11 is running on the SSD not HDD.

    Without internet connection, unfortunately it is not possible.

    The only offline option is to use a HDD/SSD to copy the games and then connect that HDD/SSD to the new console.
