Minecraft Dungeons for windows shows up as for xbox

Hello, I recently bought minecraft dungeons with it shown as being for the windows version, but I can't seem to play it but it does show up in my game list. I don't know what happened with it, but I'm almost scared I bough it for xbox instead of windows
what would be annoying. I myself don't have a xbox but do have a windows pc where I play my games on. So what should I do now?

Possable you bought the wrong one but you may have to download xbox beta or open it from the store app.

It's not a PlayAnywhere title so it is possible.

Best way to check is log into your Microsoft account and look up which version you purchased under orders. If it's not correct you can request a refund from there

Having an up-to-date version of Windows 10 does not guarantee that this game actually works on this computer. The system specifications must match at least the minimum requirements.

The Minecraft Dungeons Launcher is not the same version as the windows 10 microsoft store edition, that's why you're being sent to the minecraft website to buy it, since you don't own this version. If you go to https://www.minecraft.net/store/minecraft-dungeons-windows,
you'll notice that there are three options to buy;

Windows 7 and up: This is the Launcher Edition,
which you probably do not own.
Windows 10: This is the Microsoft Store Edition,
which you probably own.
Hero Edition - Windows 10: Also the version from the Microsoft store, but the premium edition.

Also note that the microsoft store also shows two versions of Minecraft Dungeons, additionally to the other versions that can be purchased on the minecraft website;

Windows 10 Edition
Xbox One Edition

Hi, the edition in your screenshot is the Xbox edition, not Windows
You can notice the difference because Dungeon for Windows appears like that in your order history
I mean, as “Minecraft Dungeons for Windows”

In order to be able to play Minecraft dungeons on pc, you will need to purchase the windows 10 version of the game.
