minecraft dungeons cannot invite friend

it works in every other game except minecraft dungeons, but it says you can only invite friends that have added you back even though we have it has been 4 month., so it is not just taking time to register. we have tried unfriending and refriending each other. we have tried restarting the game. it is only one friend so it leads me to belive it is on his end but i have no clue what it could be or where to start.

I have this issue as well. I cannot play Minecraft Dungeons on my PC with my friend because of privacy settings. But I cannot fix it because I don't have an XBox One. Is there no way to change these settings on the PC?

Minecraft Dungeons for me, cannot put the game down at the minute.

You cannot redeem code on Minecrafty Dungeons site. I tried it and it didn't work. It worked on Microsoft store site, i can see in microsoft store, that i have Minecraft Dungeons. On Minecraft Dungeons site it still shows i have to buy it

Can you tell us what platform are you using to play the game? And any error messages?

For playing Online Co-Op in Minecraft Dungeons, you may try the steps below:

1. From the campfire screen, select the ‘Online Game’ option by pressing A.

2. You’ll now be given a list of any available games that you can join. Any sessions you’ve been invited to, or that are available to join will appear under ‘Game Sessions.’

3. If you’re inviting a friend, simply select them from your friends list and you’ll then be able to invite them.

4. Once they’ve joined your game, simply press the ‘Start Online Game’ button at the top of this menu to begin playing Minecraft Dungeons in co-op multiplayer.
