Can my grandkids play one purchase of minecraft on seperate computers at the same time?

I had trouble when game was new. Make sure your second controller is sync'd to the Xbox console first. Then login both users before starting the game. Then you should get a popup in game to press the menu button to join.

I have an LG47LM6400 with Dual Play and got my LG Dual Play glasses delivered today. I've been going through my games and have found that the only game(s) that look good are ones that have a "Dual Play" mode in multi-player (ie CoD Black Ops 2). Many of
my multi-player/split screen games just end up with a mess of overlapping images. Forza Motorsport 4 works. but the screen is too unrealistic to thoroughly enjoy the game. However, CoD BO2 works well with minimal ghosting from the other players screen (my
son hates that he can't cheat now and get my location in death matches). Setup for Dual Play is simple, but not covered well with the help menus. After you select "Dual Play" from the options menu you need to launch "My Apps" and hit the Dual Play" icon.
