Minecraft DLC & Server Rentals

Ok so maybe this isn't the place to put this but what ever the case here we go. I am a huge fan of Minecraft as many of you here are as well. I know this is probably brought up millions of times in numerous forums throughout the (console) gaming community.
There have been huge changes in the game, as far as updates since my first venture to the Nether as well as larger maps, super flat, and as you all know the list can go on for ever. How ever I do want to ask the ever dreaded question to 4J Studios and anyone
else listening out there, when will we be able to rent server space so my friends can play on my map if I am unable to play. I have heard the whole rumor mill stating it was there temporarily or it is coming. Anxiety grows more and more seeing how advanced
the PC version is compared to the console version. Granted yes it was originally a PC Branded game, so of course they will have more features currently. I just want to know if it will ever appear.............

So now onto the DLC content portion....

Wow I don't want to step on any toes here with this one so please understand first by no means do I want to hack nor change original game play in any way illegally. I am all about fair gaming and using proper channels to get new features and expand great
titles like this one. So with out further wait I want to touch primarily on these mods that you see in the PC version( as I do believe this is where I see them). Now are these 4j Studios products or other authors changing game play?????? I really love watching
twitch feeds of people playing the Tekkit city mod as well as a huge range of others. Can someone please help me understand this further, as I want to have more realism in the game as far as powering (Nuclear facilities,etc.....). If these types of mods can
be created and used as DLC Packages for the game it would appease to a larger crowd then it already has. I for one would be purchasing these DLC/Mods if this is possible.

Well I really appreciate the time and sorry for the long drawn out speech. If this is in the wrong place I am sorry and would love to be pointed in the right direction.

Me...Bored with BF3??

Reason BF3 doesnt have the sexy replay value is cause lack of maps. Bad enough Dice was hyping up B2k during the metro beta. Then they turned down the destruction. Bad enough they were hyping up b2k dlc while we were in the beta yet. Then only give us
9 maps on the disc. Then we had to wait a while for b2k. Then a long drought til close quarters. Then they got the dlc down pat now for 60 days between dlc after premium dropped and server rentals milked us out. I'm leary to even buy BF4. Gonna be the
same old stuff. Maybe 9 maps then dlc every 60 day or farther apart and server rentals and premium. I'm buying MOH. But have a feeling it will have server rentals and premium besides. Far Cry 3 cant come quick enough for me.

A MINECRAFT THREAD, WOOO

It would be cool to rent your own servers. I use to play was it BF3 (or MW3) where you paid $$ to rent your own servers. However I wouldn't want any of my friends/randoms on my worlds when I'm offline. It's not rocket science why... greifing and stealing
are common. Many want mods too on the console version. I am happy with how the Xbox 1 and Xbox 360 versions are right now. Xbox 360 also recently got new achievements in Minecraft, the achievements you get in the Xbox 1 version, and the newish music is now
on the 360 version as well as wither skeletons etc.

 

Wait, MC on 360 got new achievements!? NO! That's 1 of the few games where I got ALL of the achievements, and now they take that away from me? Again!? First it was Halo 3, and now... Ugh, this is why I don't actively go achievement hunting - you get all
of them, it shows at the beginning of your achievement list, and then it gets taken away from you...

It's like saying, "you're not good enough!" and then smashing all of my rewards in the trophy cabinet!

 

I totally agree geek but its a chance to grow your gs. That was the only game i 100% in too now its 70%

 

Maybe they should release a Minecraft 2. $60.

-Every new game purchase comes with a code for a server (12 months?)

-More blocks

-More mobs

-More texture packs

-More Biomes

Or make it $30ish for minecraft 2 and $79.99 for Minecraft 2 and a 12 month server package?

They could also start pvp.

Now that Microsoft now owns the game, they can fully utilize their Azure servers for this game too. I watched a video last year by OutsideXbox their Youtube channel and dedicated servers was one of the fans main requests. Renting servers for your game and
being boss sounds fun but it sounds that their could be a charge for it. I spoke with a few friends today on 360 and we notice that you don't take fall damage where you loose hearts from fall damage on survival mode on the Xbox 1 version of Minecraft. Some
of my friends today said that the game developers got complaints about those of us who play the 360 version. Well many of us aren't middle aged people (who play the game) so you got to expect some fun and immaturity while playing it. My friends said despite
this, you will still earn the pigs can fly achievement on the Xbox 1 version.

 

For the 1st time in seemingly forever, I actually got a group of 6+ people together for a few hours last night and since there were so many of us, we didn't know what game we should play that we all had, so we all started throwing some ideas out there. And
you know what? Minecraft was the 1st game to come to mind that we all had, so that's what we ended up playing. It was awesome! I got to show off some new skins that the others hadn't seen yet, I actually managed to get my brother to play with us (via splitscreen),
nobody griefed anyone, AND I saw and killed my very 1st witch (I did get poisoned though, but I survived it!)!

 

Wow I wish I could do this on the Xbox 1 version. I spent yesterday playing the 360 version with lots of friends and people I had to delete some friends from my list since the 360 system only allows 100 max on your list and now its full again. I've had only
two maybe three friends who have joined my Xbox 1 worlds. Well 80% of my friends are still stuck on the 360. It's Monday morning for me 7:59 am. I went on my X1 yesterday and the first thing on my friends mind who were on Xbox 1 was Netflix and Youtube lol.
I heard one of my friends said on 360 yesterday 6 people in an XBL party was the most she's been in. I've been in 8 person parties several times. I killed 2 witches on Saturday night with another friend on the 360 version. I also encountered for the first
time a wither skelly on the 360 version last week, they drain your health, and it takes sooo long to regenerate even if the game is on Easy.
