Minecraft DLC not downloading

Sorry for the issue with the creator pack. This is a DLC for the game Minecraft. Do you own the game Minecraft? DLC is downloadable content that is added to the game. For example skins, textures map packs are all addons or DLC. If you do not own the game
itself you will need to purchase that.

The DLC works fine on the xbox I download it on which is the one upstairs. I downloaded minecraft originally on the main xbox and then copied it to my thumb drive which I take back and forth. So the game itself works fine. I just don't understand why the
DLC is any different then the game.

The minecraft game will play even when my friends plug their gamer tags in but the DLC will not work for them either. So they can play the game but not use the DLC.

Side note: I played Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition earlier this week as well after not playing the game for a few weeks. I don't have any DLC downloaded for Minecraft but when I started a new world with a bunch of friends, I got an error saying that some of
the DLC content was corrupted. However, I have no DLC installed for Minecraft, just game updates. This makes me think my hard drive is faulty.

First, I'd recommend you to try this simple step:

Press the Xbox Button > My Games and Apps > See All > Manage Queue > Queue

You'll find the download of the DLC (which is stuck). Click on Cancel All > Clear The Queue

Then Press the Xbox Button > System > Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games (Note: Just do this if your saves are saved in the cloud, else they'll be lost).

After that, try to download the DLC again.

If the steps above don't work, I'd recommend you to remove and add your account again and do a power cycle on your Xbox One:

Remove Account:

​​​1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

Power Cycle:

​​​1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Wait for 5 minutes and then turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​

Add Account:

​​​1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​

After removing/adding your account, try all the steps above: clear the queue, remove saved games files and try to download again.
