    Minecraft DLC I purchased not transferring


    Hello. A while back I heard about a program that would allow you to purchase DLC on the X-Box 360 version of Minecraft and that this DLC would then transfer to the X-Box One version once you purchased Minecraft for the X-Box One. Unfortunately, for me,
    this does not seem to be the case. I followed the directions listed here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/games/minecraft-dlc-save-transfer , but
    to no avail. Also, I should note that when I purchased Minecraft: X-Box One Edition, I purchased it for $5 since I own the X-Box 360 Edition. I have waited several days since my purchase of Minecraft: X-Box One Edition to see if the issue would resolve
    itself, but it unfortunately has not. I know for fact that I have purchased each of the Mash-Up packs, several texture packs, and a few skin packs on the X-Box 360 version, but for whatever reason, I cannot download any of them for free as advertised. When
    I go to Manage Game I cannot see any DLC, and when I go to See All Available DLC it asks me to purchase the things that I have already purchased on the X-Box 360. I would simply like to have this issue resolved and be able to use the content on my X-Box One.

    As for my research, here are the following info.

    Xbox

    DLC transferring between Xbox 360 and Xbox One depends on whether or not you purchased the DLC with a Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass.

    If you have a Season Pass:

    DLC purchased on Xbox 360 will transfer to Xbox One.

    DLC purchased on Xbox One will not transfer to Xbox 360.

    If you do not have a Season Pass:

    DLC purchased on Xbox 360 will not transfer to Xbox One.

    DLC purchased on Xbox One will not transfer to Xbox 360.

    hi

    my son has been playing minecraft, saint row, far cry 4 etc in Xbox 360. is it possible to transfer the games to xbox one? minecraft is an online purchase. rest all the discs we bought from Game.

    he doesnt want to upgrade to xbox one but ofcourse we are missing out the new features of xbox one and xbox 360 is getting out dated fast and would value for nothing soon.. ihave few consoles left like that and lying in the garage.. (ps2, xbox, psp etc)..

    any advice on transferring the games would be helpful for me to decide on xbox one..

    Have you tried copying over a saved world? I do not recall having to downloaded any skins or texture packs when I moved from Xbox 360 to Xbox One. It's been a while so I might be forgetting that step. The only thing I remember doing was copying over my saved
    worlds. Try moving over a saved world and see if that opens up the DLC.

    The ability to transfer add-ons were limited to only content purchased before the Xbox One Edition of Minecraft was released. But the ability to transfer DLC has been discontinued.

    Have you tried copying over a saved world? I do not recall having to downloaded any skins or texture packs when I moved from Xbox 360 to Xbox One. It's been a while so I might be forgetting that step. The only thing I remember doing was copying over my saved

    I purchased 2 Minecraft mashup packs on my 360 but I can't download them on my Xbox one?

    Unfortunately the ability to transfer DLC from the 360 version of Minecraft to the One has been discontinued. You would have to purchase them for the One version.

    Playing add-ons

    You must purchase the DLC for the game on the same account the game was purchased on. The game is licensed to her account while the DLC is licensed to yours. I do not believe there is away to transfer those licenses.

    Unfortunately, i believe, you may have to purchase the DLC again on her account. If there is away to transfer the licenses someone will chime in.
