Minecraft Discount

I have minecraft on my Xbox 360 assigned to my account and when I go on the Xbox one on my account it tells me I have to pay for the full price. Could anyone help me on why I don't have the discount for Minecraft: Xbox one Edition.

Question, Have you purchased Minecraft on Xbox 360 and connected it to your profile? Also have you tried to Actually purchase Minecraft Xbox One Edition? You should take a look at this post:

How often do you play and when was the last time the 360 version was updated?

According to some people, you need to play the game (connected to xbox live) for up to 48-72 hours (48 more likely) after the update that allowed the price discount. After the 48-72 hours of play, you should see the discount in the store. So if you don't
play the 360 version often then that could be the reason.

If you have played the game on the 360 more than that then I would contact Customer Service (by phone).

 

Are you sure because I think I have played more that that to be honest and I have still got no discount.

 

I would contact customer support if you believe you played Minecraft more than 48-72 hours after they announced the upgrade discount. They are really the only ones that can fix this.
