Minecraft Discount

So according to Xbox Support (twitter) I'm not eligible for the discount, because I didn't buy the game (I do own the game though). But the chat support on here (in which I told them all the same stuff that I told the twitter account) said wait 24-48 hours.

I own it digitally, have multiple save files, played online with friends, transfered a save to the XB1 version, gotten all but two achievements (they even have the dates in which I achieved them), bought DLC, and have download and played everysingle update
(I got it 5 days after it came out on the 360). I'm using the same account that owns the game, but still no discount.

Which is true? I think the twitter account is wrong, b/c I do own the game, and I've played online for many hours. But you would think I would have the discount since it's been one day, and a week.

Could someone please explain this to me?

Question, Have you purchased Minecraft on Xbox 360 and connected it to your profile? Also have you tried to Actually purchase Minecraft Xbox One Edition? You should take a look at this post:

I have minecraft on my Xbox 360 assigned to my account and when I go on the Xbox one on my account it tells me I have to pay for the full price. Could anyone help me on why I don't have the discount for Minecraft: Xbox one Edition.

Umm, we're all just gamers here. So, whatever we say will just be from our own personal experiences. Me... the discount was there day one. I had no problems whatsoever. I'm sorry, but Support is going to be your only hope.
