Minecraft disc edition

Hi I recently brought this for my daughter of Xmas which she loves but the only problem is, it asks us if we we like to buy the full version when she hits certain buttons. I thought this was the full version. Can anyone help.

xbox 360 will not upload from disc to hard drive.

Ok, just found this thread from the Minecraft forums. Apparently because the game is an Arcade game it cannot be installed and must be played from the disc.

It seems like installing disc-based Xbox Live Arcade games is not a supported feature, and that would be why you cannot install it. The games need to be run off the disc.

 

Did she download the trial version of the game before she got the disc? If so, that is probably why you are seeing that. On my under the "My games" tab it will show two Minecraft games. One for the disc that is in the console that will be listed as Xbox
360 and the trial version that I downloaded will say Xbox arcade. Hope that helps...
