Minecraft didn't migrate correctly?

I recently factory reset my laptop. I haven't played Minecraft for what feels like a year now prior to the reset. But I still had it downloaded, so I went to re-install it. Upon reinstalling it, I noticed that my Mojang account had to be linked to my Microsoft one... So I did that, saw that it recognized that I had an Xbox gamer tag and everything already.

On the Microsoft Store, I go to launch Minecraft and it tells me that the account I have logged in doesn't have access to Minecraft. I only have one account. I have two emails attached to said account, but only one account regardless. I'm not sure what the problem is... It's not a huge deal to me since I was never that big on Minecraft to begin with. But I do enjoy going back to it on occasion and I do own it, so I would like to have access to it again.

For reference, this is the error code I get; Minecraft Launcher is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

Hi Samy,

I followed your instructions to the best of my abilities. I didn't have the Xbox app installed, so I installed it after restarting my PC the first time. After restarting it that time, I noticed that the Microsoft Store logged me back in immediately (it actually happened both times). I don't know if that's what your instructions intended, so I repeated the process (then including the Xbox app).

Nothing changed, I still get that same error message. So I'm not sure what to do now...

These steps can help you, give it a try.
Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.
1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app
2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this for the game too.
3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.
5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

Yes, it seems that's the problem. If I remember correctly, I didn't have xbox before, but my minecraft was working perfectly and I don't remember migrating it to another microsoft account before.

it was a Mojang account that I migrated, it was my Gmail that I migrated to this mail. but now my Minecraft account is using another mail that I don't recognize and cant change. I don't know what to do or if I'm explaining myself correctly. Thanks

I didn't get it from game pass i got it from the minecraft store before they even added the migrating account thing.
