    Minecraft Demo World Saved?


    Hello.

    Sometime around January or Febuary this year (2021) I started playing Minecraft.

    I started a demo world to try it out before I bought the game and I really liked it, so when the demo world time ran out I reset it, thinking that when I bought the full game I could just play both the old and new demo worlds. However that proved to be wrong when I bought the game and could not find them.

    Is there a hidden folder in the demo world save or something? I created about 3 demo worlds, but I would really just like to get my first one back.

    I have tried going on previous versions in the Minecraft folder but found nothing. Since then I have created atleast 100 different Minecraft worlds and uninstalled then reinstalled Minecraft multiple times and even moved the information from my laptop to a flashdrive a couple of times. I have also tried using a PC data recovery tool but that still did not work. I play Minecraft Java Edition 1.16.5 and my operating system is windows 10.

    I would really like it if someone could help me because i have been trying to get this world back for a really long time.

    As you said it reset, I think it's unlikely you'll be able to recover but I recommend contacting Mojang to see if the worlds are saved somewhere on your PC.

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.

    Maybe your whole Minecraft data is corrupted. Try to save your worlds on a flashdrive and then delete Minecraft and then redownload it and put your worlds back on it.

    For this you will need to copy your world and make it available in a forum for download. Regular Minecraft save worlds to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\, Windows 10 edition saves worlds to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\
    LocalState \ games \ com.mojang \ minecraftWorlds. Worlds are saved in different formats so you cannot copy worlds from java based version to windows 10 version.

    this file worked for "C:\Users\Your PC Name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds"
