Minecraft deluxe on Nintendo Switch.

Hello, I’m hoping someone else has had this issue and has a fix. I’ve found myself looking for something to pass the time while working out of time. I decided to bring my switch as it’s portable and noticed Minecraft deluxe was on sale (30% off) and figured that would be a good way to kill some time in between shifts. After the software downloaded I booted it up only to be faced with 2 issues (possibly related to one another? Not sure) . My first issue that was immediately noticed was the “invalid session” notice I received for the marketplace with the suggestion to restart my game… I have tried that as well as deleting and redownloading the game entirely without any change/results. My next issue is all of the extra content that comes with the deluxe game is nowhere to be found however I have a Mario theme available to me. Where is all of the things that the game was supposed to come with? Anywho it’s possible these two are related and that content is somehow intertwined with the marketplace but regardless I cannot access it to figure that out. Hope someone can shed some light on this. If you are using a different email for nintendo as you are for microsoft then this is the solution and also why errors will occur for online content

When I first purchased the game I automatically logged into my microsoft account that has a hotmail address. I was able to play minecraft as I already had a pc account that owned minecraft so it basically ported my account over to nintendo.

My deluxe bundle is not connected to hotmail but it is connected to gmail the email I use on nintendo. This meant that not only did the bundle not appear but I also was unable to connect online because it saw my microsoft account as not having nintendo online membership.

I went to settings and logged out of the microsoft account on nintendo switch. I then restarted my switch. I logged in again on minecraft using the QR code but created an account that used the same email as the account on nintendo switch. Once I did this I checked the marketplace and I had the packs and 1600 coins. I was then able to do split screen with my kids because it associated with the online membership so online use was available.

If your nintendo account email is different from your microsoft account email than this is the solution to receiving your deluxe pack:

(the deluxe is a bundle not a dlc so no code and will automatically be in your account if your emails are the same)

By a switch I meant a Nintendo switch and when I get Minecraft invites instead of going to my Nintendo switch it instead goes to my mobile account on minecraft
