    Hello, this is concerning Minecraft. I’m pretty sure i know how i got myself into a pickle. Sometimes my xbox does not sync with the cloud, and instead of restarting it, i play on and rely on local saved data.

    My problem: sometimes when I’m “offline” i will also delete back up copies that I’ve made of my world. Next time that log back on and properly sync to the cloud, there is old files in the cloud that no longer exist in local saved data. I would like to delete
    the portion that is saved on the cloud but when i click on the edit icon in the world selection menu, i get the error message, “This world is not fully synced or has been corrupted. Try playing the world on a console where its in a good state and try migrating
    it again.” But I’m on the original console and the file is deleted there.

    Going forward, i will no longer delete worlds if Im not online, but i would like to get rid of the 7 or so gray unloadable worlds in my menu. Its not the end of the world, its just annoying.

    Yes, this is on my new Xbox Series S. I just got it today and wasn't expecting my old worlds from my old Xbox One to transfer over. This includes all the corrupted worlds from my Xbox One and I'd really like to delete all of the corrupted ones. I have no interest in fixing these particular worlds, but I do have worlds I would like to keep so completely erasing all worlds as a whole is not an option.

    Maybe your whole Minecraft data is corrupted. Try to save your worlds on a flashdrive and then delete Minecraft and then redownload it and put your worlds back on it.

    first of all, thanks a lot for your help. I'll try everything and see if the folders appear. The only thing that I think it's not clear is that the folders cannot be corrupted, because the worlds appear on Minecraft world list and I can play them. The only real problem is that the worlds folder have the folders from worlds that are not in my Minecraft game anymore, because they corrupted and I deleted them from the game. For some reason, the ones I deleted have their folders in the worlds folder and the ones that I currently have in the game do not. This is my problem.

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.

    Hi,

    I am having a similar problem with a Minecraft world that I have put many many hours into (file size is 260mb). I tried doing the power cycle, that didn't work so I tried deleting my local game save data, then deleted my profile, signed back into my profile
    and attempted to open the world but I still get the error saying "The world is not fully synced or has been corrupted. Try playing the world on a console where it's in a good state and try migrating it again."

    Is this world lost forever due to corruption or are there any other steps I can try? Is there not a way to recover from a prior date? Such as 1/23/19? This only became an issue for me on Thursday 1/24/19. Would really like to recover this world in some
    form, even if it's not the most recent save.
