Minecraft data sync

I got my xbox series x on christmas and i was excited to try out games on it. But when i went to go tryout minecraft it came up with the message of “Your other xbox is taking a long time to sync to the cloud” and the two option i had were “try again” (obv didnt work) and “sync last saved data” which i didnt want to do because i dont know what the last saved data was. So i could play on my xbox one but not my series x. I tried to do everything possible to get the data to sync but nothing worked. I tried an external drive but only the game would sync over and not the data. When i go to see data in the setting on my xbox one it shows 4gb of data and on my series x 0. The other day after letting it sit for a few months i tried again but this time it automatically synced the last data from the cloud but ofc the last data was from months ago and none of my recent stuff was there. So i went onto my xbox one and the screen that was showing on my series x now shows there saying that the data wont sync. So i went back over to my series x and now thats showing the screen too. So now i cant play on either xbox because the data wont sync even though the 4gb of data is showing on my xbox one but it still says its not syncing. Im afraid that i might have to delete the data and start new losing my progress which i DONT want to do. If anyone knows how to fix this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME!

Sorry you're having issues getting your game data to sync. I would suggest you go to the last console you played Minecraft on that's pending a sync. Open the game, and then allow it to sync data. After that exit the game. Then go to your other console
and see if the data syncs correctly. if it does not then I would suggest trying a hard reset on the console that is having issues syncing your minecraft data. To do this, with the console on, hold the power button down for 5-10 seconds until it quickly shuts
off. Then turn it back on, and follow the previous steps to open and sync data.

If you still cannot sync after that, you have an option to use the latest save from your console you're trying to open Minecraft on. If you cannot get it to sync at all, then I would suggest using the last save from that console. NOTE: You will lose some
saved data by doing this.

Sometimes this happens if you use your account on more tan 1 device. First, are there any error messages pooping up like "We couldn't get your last save data" or "which one do you want to use'? First I wont recommend restarting your Xbox by holding the
power button on your Xbox for 10 seconds. Load back into Minecraft and see what happens.

Hi, thanks for the help but unfortunately it is still not working. I haven’t tried to reset my Xbox yet because I don’t how it will effect all my other games and setting. It says that it will reset my Xbox settings and mentioned something about saved games.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently facing issues with your Minecraft on both of your consoles. But don't worry, the following troubleshooting steps will help fix the issue.

Step 1: Clear Mac address:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Step 2: Close any running games:

To remove download constraints from games or apps being installed, you can either wait for the Xbox to suspend the running game, or you can force games to close by doing the following:

On the Home screen, navigate to your most recently run game.
With the game highlighted, press the Menu button and select Quit.

Step 3: Remove your account:

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm then re-add your account.

Step 4: Reset your console:

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Step 5: Check your internet connection:

In case the issue still persists, please try connecting to a different network, or perhaps using a hotspot momentarily to just to sync your world and then connecting to your home network once more.
