    minecraft crossplay xbox one, ps4 not working


    So my brother and want to play crossplatform but it says unable to connect to game. I have an xbox one and he has a microsoft account but when i get an invite from him it just says unable to connect. We are on the same patch and have even tried a new world.
    When i look at my ingame setting at profile i don't see a button to enable crossplay ( i'm on the xbox one). Anyway to fix this problem?

    Cross platfrom: xbox-playstaition (minecraft)

    Crossplay with the PS4 for Minecraft started in December.

    Yes but Fortnite is at least crossplay across the board. Warzone is currently optional crossplay on PS4 and mandatory on Xbox One, not a good look.

    Forgive my ignorance if this information is incorrect for Minecraft but I do not know of a game that is cross platform for PS4, Xbox and PC. Any games I've seen have been 2 way as in PS4-PC or Xbox-PC. I may be wrong as Minecraft may support this kind
    of crossplay but this could be your issue.

    I cant add my friend on battlefield 2042

    xbox series s and x are crossplay with pc, xbox one is not as stated in all of EA's documentation, they stated that xbox one and ps4 are not crossplay with pc but they are with each other, only those on pc, xbox series s/x and ps5 are fully crossplay, this is why you cannot invite each other.
