Minecraft Crashes on Xbox One when clicking the edit world button

Solution 1 & 2 completed. No change.

The world should still be there, all of it is stored in the cloud storage. Once you load up the game again it should sync as well.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Check for any pending game updates.

Go to “My Apps & Games”, select Minecraft, and press the more options button. From the list, select “Manage game & add-ons” and then “Updates”. Any updates will be available here.

Solution 3: Uninstall and reinstall the game.

Solution 4: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

Had ~81 worlds previously

No have 61 worlds

Lost around 20 worlds.

I believe they’re my children’s worlds and they might notice, but they may be very disappointed.

Also the names of many worlds changed as I’m not seeing certain worlds that we just recently named before proceeding with step 3.

If the console is stuck updating, try to turn off the console, and hold the Bind button (the small button next to the USB ports on newer Xbox 360 consoles, or the small button next to the Memory Unit slots on older 360 consoles), and keep that button held
down when you power up the console.

As for your Minecraft world:

If you are still able to somehow boot the console, and copy the savegame over to an USB drive, you can go to a working Xbox 360 that can connect online, and load your world there.

Then, with an updated Xbox 360 Minecraft, move your world to the cloud.

Now comes the hard part: Find someone with a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" (not the newer Xbox One "Minecraft" without the "Xbox One Edition").

You can then download your world into that "Minecraft Xbox One Edition", and then this world can be imported into "Minecraft".
