    Minecraft crashes, freezes


    10/24/2016. I have recently downloaded the newest Minecraft TU. My game crashes, and freezes my console whenever I access a chest. I have not gotten any farther into other possible errors, as this seems bad enough to warrant repair on its own. The game
    is unusable under this condition. I KNOW I am NOT the only player with this problem. I have deleted, re-installed, and cleared until I am blue in the face. So please, no more rudimentary suggestions. This is not a client error it is a programing error.

    My friends and others, (from postings I have read), are have the same problem.

    DEVs , PLEASE correct this!!

    Well this looks promising! 3 views already, all mine! When I search for it nothing shows up! The only reason I can even find this post is because I bookmarked it! Thanks for nothing, this is beyond a joke. It is a total waste of client time!

    I went to Mojang's bug fix site -JIRA. This bug is the most current post. It is marked as unassigned and unresolved. They ARE aware of this problem, and it appears they were BEFORE I even downloaded the TU the first time. I have been informed by friends
    that accessing chests in the mini-games crashes the game as well. I'm curious about something - isn't a program that is KNOWN to cause undesired results for the user considered malware?
