    Hello

    I've just upgraded my PC with the following parts:

    11th Gen Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-1160 @ 2.80GHz

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 TI

    16 Gb Ram

    Driverversion 511.23

    I want to play minecraft, so i've allocated 6 gb ram and also tried 4 gb ram. but i seem to have less FPS than i did before my upgraded, running 2gb ram. Aside my fps my CPU dives straight up to around 85-90% because of minecraft

    I have installed optimefine to increase my fps, but it doesn't seem to help

    What is the reason behind this, and is there a solution?

    The only reason I would try setting it to high is because, the issue here just shows a mismanagement of resources. That what settings you have in the Game and in the PC are using a vast number of resources for the components that you have. It could be that adjusting 1 or 2 settings solve the issue or that you adjust the entire set up and it resolves the issue. The increase CPU usage, the graphical fidelity is more often than not determined by the PC and its settings.

    That would probably end up being my recommendation is that - High settings don't always mean high performance. It is the settings that best fit your PC are the best settings.

    If your game is fully updated and not experiencing any other issues beyond graphical missteps - adjusting your settings in game, and for your PC to bets work together is the best advice I can give here.

    I think i've found a solution for it. My FPS limit was set to unlimited before with my CPU constansly being at maximum %. Now ive adjusted my FPS limit to 90 fps, and now it just sitting around 30-40%

    Thank you so much for your time and effort, but i think this is the easiest solution for me to being able to play the game :)
