    Minecraft Control drift


    Minecraft on Xbox One suddenly started having an infuriating problem. Crosshairs constantly drift to pointing straight up at sky anytime you are not directly controlling action. I've restarted, started new games, changed control scheme, reset controller,
    changed controllers, changed batteries and nothing matters. As soon as I stop moving, the view slowly starts drifting up until I am looking 90 degrees up into the sky.

    Any advice is much appreciated

    Camera view drift

    Hi in all games and Microsoft edge the camera view drifts downwards without the controls being touched I have tried a different controller same result also if I use a pointer such as when on Microsoft edge this drifts as welll if I reverse axis in settings
    it drifts in the opposite direction any clues

    Sensitive controlers

    I have 2 controlers. The first came with the xbox. The second i bought about 6 months later. A few days ago both controlers became very sensitive in the main menus and the minecraft menues.

    Also the right controler on both drift. This happened to both controlers at the same time. I highly doubt hardware problem.

    I have unplugged the xbox and removed the batteries from the controlrr.

    If your controllers drifting, rather get it replaced if its brand new.

    Controller drift will ruin your games

    Xbox series X controller keeps drifting up

    I just got a Xbox controller for Christmas. And as soon as I connected it to my Xbox it had drift on the right joystick. I opened the controller right from the box and didn’t get any dust of anything like that near it but still it drifts. I wanted a new Xbox controller because my old controller had drift. Crazy how out of the box it already has drift.

    That is strange. I've only ever had stick drift on my old 360 controllers. I don't know if the standard Xbox one controllers have it, but the Xbox Elite controller sticks can be adjusted to have dead zones to avoid drift. Check in the Xbox Accessories
    app if you can adjust it for normal controllers.
    Have my elite controller set up and still drifts. Can't do standard controller. Did notice they drift worse on any COD.

    Not quite understanding what you mean by centerpoint. Is the controller drifting up? For steps on drifting controllers, check out our

    Xbox One Controller Troubleshooter    . Unfortunately for drifting issues, the controller would need to be repaired or replaced depending on your warranty status.

    If the controller has a drifting issue then you will have to wait for the replacement. There really is no fix for drifting issues that I know of.
