Minecraft constantly freezes

I have Minecraft installed on a HUAWEI MediaPad T5, it's doing some really strange things. So it'll only load to 65% and then shut down, I restart the tablet and sometimes it loads but all the world's I've worked on have gone. I have tried u installing and reinstalling it and it will load up fine maybe once and then start freezing at 65% again. I've checked for updates in the playstore and there's nothing available and currently it's unplayable. Any ideas?

No sorry, I can't get into the game at all the minute, shuts down at 65%

Thanks for that info. Are you still able to go into the Minecraft Settings?

If you still can, try the solution below.

In the Settings menu: 
Reduce the Render Distance in the Video section from the default of 20 to 16. You can try going lower if necessary.
Change the Graphics setting to Fast. This reduces graphic resolution quality but enables the device to render faster.  
Change the Clouds setting to Off.   
Change the Particles setting to Decreased or Minimal. This removes particle effects like smoke.  
If you have additional programs running in the background on the device, pause or exit those programs to free up more processing power for Minecraft.

Hi!

It was roughly two weeks ago, I've checked for updates for the tablet but nothing is showing up, I can't change the network connection. All of my other games work just fine so it's really confusing

Thanks for confirming, Abbie. Since this is on mobile, we can only do so much about it. You already reinstalled it but same issue. Most likely it's a compatibility issue or game bug on your Android version or phone model. Our best option is for you to directly report or reach out Minecraft support team by sending them a ticket here https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/request/new

Alternatively, you may access your account on a different device. If it's a profile issue, it may be refreshed or corrected when using a different device.
