Minecraft Connection Problems

Hello everyone,

I am experiencing problems when a friend of mine tries to join my world in minecraft on Xbox one Bedrock edition.

We both have open NAT Types, both run the same version of minecraft, i can join his worlds normally every time, and he can also join any of my worlds normally but only the first time, so basically after we save and quit and shut the xbox off, the next day
when we try playing on my world again he can't connect (Error Message: Unable to Connect to world). But if I create a new world he can join in instantly.

We have both tried removing each other as friends both through in game minecraft and through the xbox menu, restarting the xbox and adding each other again. We've restarted routers and nothing helped connecting him to our saved world.

We recently found a somewhat Easter egg method for him to actually join but it's not going to be effective in less than a month because our free realm subscription is running out and we can't really afford to pay it, we actually thought realms came with
minecraft but we didn't know any better had only played in pc.

So anyway he subscribed for 30 days for free on the realms and he added me as a member to his realm, so when he sends me an invite to a realm and I accept (but don't join his world) instead go back to our saved load in and invite him again, he can now join
instantly. He needs to remove me from the realm as a member and invite me again every time we shut off our Xbox. Thank you in advance for your support.

I've also contacted Microsoft through the phone but we were unable to find a solution.

Also note we can play any other game together no matter which one of us is hosting

You say you have tried a lot. Have you tried a hard reset of the console? If not hold down the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds or until the unit powers down completely. Let it set for a couple of minutes and then power it back
on and try it again.

If that don't work try removing your profile then re-downloading it and trying to see if that possibly resolves the issue.

No problems switching from minecraft to other games now... but a new problem arose, now I'm having problems connecting to my internet. Sometimes it will connect after a few minutes, but other times it wont connect at all.

Update: I've narrowed it down to being a problem with the second connected controller. I tried skyrim twice with each controller (first connected controller) in separate sessions (power cycled and everything) and both times no problem with the controller.
In minecraft (separate sessions, power cycled) the problem each time - alternating controllers - and each time the issue was with the second connected controller. tried other 2+ player games and had the same issues I am having with minecraft. Please help!

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, but I still get the same "Connection Failed: Connection to the server was lost. Exiting to main menu." message. Is this problem due to an update by the Minecraft people? I just tried out Turbo Thunder and it works.
It seems like only Minecraft is affected.

2. Make sure your internet connection is working

Solution:

Make sure your device is connected to a stable network (use a wired connection or make sure the Wi-Fi signal is good).

You can try opening other apps or websites to test the network connection and make sure there are no network interruptions or delays.

3. Check Minecraft's Firewall or Network Settings

If you are using a firewall or certain network security software, it may be preventing Minecraft from establishing a connection with the server. You can check your firewall settings to see if there are rules that prevent Minecraft from connecting.

Solution:

Open your firewall settings and make sure that Minecraft or Minecraft Launcher is allowed to connect to the Internet through the firewall.
