minecraft connection issues with my wife

so my wife and i both have minecraft and we have been trying to connect to each others world but cannot do so because it tells me i have an outdated server. her version is 1.12.101.70 and my version is 1.13.15.70 but we got the copies from the store. i
downloaded mine from game pass and i bought her copy from the store last year., or her game is outdated i am not sure and could really use some help to figure out this issue so we can play together.

Ok we will try this and get back to you. Do you know how to drop out of the insider program I don't remember.

Hi there,

as far as I know the 1.13.15.70 version is currently a beta version, which could mean is that you are participating in the Xbox Insider program for Minecraft, which you can see via the Xbox Insider App.

It's not possible to play with people that are on a different version.

So you'll either have to drop out of the 'beta' or your wife will need to join it

Same issue here dudes. Cant connect using my andoid and my wifes. Smarglass on andriod for 360 it just wont work.
