Minecraft code redeemed but not working

I gifted my kid Minecraft. The code was redeemed but its not working. There is not number to contact microsoft, I cant get a refund , so not sure what should be the next steps.

OK, that didn't work. She redeemed the gift code then saw it was for the wrong Minecraft.

if the code did work and said you are about to redeem the game minecraft when going to the redeem page you will be fine if you typed it in and it was used it would say this code has all ready been redeemed

Could you please explain better how the code is not working? You tried to redeem it and you get an error message or what? Let's try to fix it and see if it can work.

It still hasn't worked. The Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition says I have to redeem a code ,but it shows up in my all owned.
