    Minecraft Code for Xbox One S Purchase


    Hello, I was advised by technical support to post here.

    I purchased a Xbox One S Minecraft Edition for my son. I assumed Minecraft came pre-installed but my son informed me the other day he never got it. We've since thrown out the box with the rest of the Christmas boxes. Although I have all the Xbox manuals,
    I'm unable to locate any code for Minecraft. Can I get the code reissued? I can provide whatever information you need about this unit.

    I have problem... I activate my code for minecraft windows 10 version and i can't play this minecraft on my xbox one s,, he told me i must buy this game. Minecraft Windows 10 is not compatible with xbox one version?

    I did not receive the minecraft for Xbox one Code with my Xbox one s purchase

    I recently purchased a Xbox one S which was advertized as having Minecraft for Xbox one included in the package. I received a code for the Window's version and the Builders pack but not card for the Minecraft Xbox one game. Is it possible for me to receive
    this code via email? Thank you.

    Sorry, but since that is a physical bundle, support here would not be able to assist. Generally you would contact the retailer for assistance with a bundle, but Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen codes and the retailer may not be able to give
    a new code either.

    I don't have access to my Minecraft anymore?

    - "Have you checked your order history if the Minecraft Xbox One edition was purchased on there before?"
    - As I stated in the original post, I purchased the Xbox One S 'Minecraft Edition.' I own the game through a digital code.

    - "The PC version was provided as a code I believe so you can redeem that to any account."
    - The code in my purchase history simply says "Minecraft for Windows." If it was a PC-only code, then why was I able to still access Minecraft Windows edition on my Xbox previously, but cannot do so now? The way I see it: I got a game with my Xbox to play on my Xbox, Microsoft buys up Mojang, gives me a code to play Minecraft on my PC, then takes away all forms of me playing Minecraft on my Xbox. Does this make sense?
