    MInecraft Code Connector not working


    Hello,

    I just purchsed Minecraft windows 10 edition as I was hoping to help my nephews learn some coding with the code connector. Unfortunately the Code Connector app won't connect to the server.

    Does anyone have a workaround for this?

    It seems that this has been an ongoing problem for a while. Are Microsoft discontinuing this app???

    Did the headset microphone work before? Or is that a new headset, and it has never worked ever?

    What kind of headset is your son using? Is it an original Xbox chat headset with a wide connector that goes into the USB-like connector, or are you using a 3.5mm jack headset with three rings on the connector?

    Could the connectors on the battery pack and controller be dirty? I had an old cordless phone that had a similar issue and once I cleaned the connectors it worked fine.

    Microsoft is using a specialy proprietary connector so this wouldn't work.

    I just roughed the connectors up with some Emery cloth, it's like sandpaper, wire wool would work just as well. It's just a case of cleaning the connectors so you can be sure the batteries are making good contact.

    Maybe the chat mixer appears and works if the connector you use on the controller is 3.5mm
