    Minecraft cloud saves are corrupt


    I performed a reset on my xbox one s because of bad lag just in menus and apps. The reset fixed my issues. When I reinstalled minecraft half my worlds were missing and 4 or 5 that were deleted over a year ago reappeared. My main world which I play every
    day. Shows last update of 8 Nov and is 2.5 gb which was only 1.2 gb before the reset this morning. Now when I load it I get a message say its corrupt or not synced. Tried deleting game data multiple time with no luck. Any one have any suggestions?

    Thanks. But my local save was not corrupted. It is that I did a Xbox factory reset. After that, I did try to re-sync my Minecraft world (500+MB) and the console said "the cloud save is corrupted".

    Is it possible that I get the "corrupted" save from your cloud storage and then I can try to repair it? The Minecraft save is so precious to us. Is this possible?

    If it is not corrupted, move that save over to an actual HDD device. Uploading and downloading to the cloud is a common problem within Minecraft on Xbox.

    If it is corrupted on the local machine you can try removing that save and syncing to the cloud. However if the cloud save is also corrupted there is nothing that can be done.

    I restored my Xbox as I was having start-up problems and when I restored the system I downloaded all my Minecraft save games. Now Minecraft says all the saved games are corrupted and are unplayable.

    I’ve tried restarting the system, reinstalling Minecraft, downloading the saved games again - nothing has worked.

    I started a new game and then I thought maybe I should do another restore, thinking maybe there was a problem with the restore. Well now it turns out that the new save game is also corrupted after the restore - this tells me the cloud save capability for
    Minecraft is a pile of garbage.

    Is there a way of fixing these games or downloading them from the cloud so they can be fixed elsewhere?

    The OP isn't trying to sync to the cloud as they have already done that. their question is whether the Cloud Save can become corrupted and so corrupts the console when the save syncs to it
