    Minecraft cloud save data is old after update


    my problem is that when the window tens system update would not download so i contacted microsoft support and they said that i should remove my profile and clear priscant storage 3 times than when the update finally downloaded i played minecraft xbox
    one edition a couple of my worlds disappeared and the data i did have was weird but i soon recognized that the data was old so the old data replaced my current data this happened around 3 weeks ago my data from 10/2/15 has been replaced i think the only way
    to fix this is to go in my cloud and retrieve my data from 10/2/15 to replace the old data i would appreciate it if i can get a response

    Update trouble

    One hours before, my minecraft was updated.

    After this update, I wanted to delete old save date. I selected old data and deleted.

    The result was "the latest top data was deleated !!" What happend !!

    What a fatal bug! My precious date can't come back.

    Crazy update!! (in Japan)

    Update - I mananged to sync One Minecraft save and it is not where I left when I last played. This save is a good 3 months old. Why are these saves old and not new?

    This cloud stuff is broken as hell

    I understand that you are experiencing issues with Minecraft Storage.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please check Minecraft storage quota because Minecraft has its own save data limit, separate from your Xbox cloud storage. Even if you’ve cleared old saves, residual or hidden data can still occupy the quota.

    To do this on your Xbox, go to Settings > System > Storage.

    Find Minecraft in the list, and review the save data size.

    And then re-sync cloud saves by signing back into your Xbox account.

    Launch Minecraft and let it fully sync with your cloud save data.

    Restart the game and try creating or saving a new world.

    Next is to check for system or game updates. Kindly make sure that both your Xbox console and Minecraft are up to date.

    Go to Settings > System > Updates to check for pending updates for the console.

    And for Minecraft, open the Xbox Store > Library, and update the game if needed.

    Somehow overwrote savefiles

    If you go into your settings and cloud storage is active then your game may be saved to the cloud. However if the new game start has been saved over the old data and the old data has been deleted from the cloud there is not an option to restore it.

    hi thank you , thats bad news i did not want to hear , so how do i go about getting the other person to change from my acct usuage to make their own acct so that i dont have 2 conflicting xbox ones come up under my name , ? both machines seem to be conflicting
    with each other , its causing me a lot of dramas , i have gold vip membership my friend has no acct as he has been offline under my acct , , he has his own games , some of mine are disk some of mine are digital download from the store , thank you , steve
