    Hi everybody,

    I recently changed the password for the Microsoft account on my PC, subsequently on my phone and other devices. I forgot that my son uses the same account for playing Minecraft (in Italian, so the attached screen shot is in Italian, but the sense should
    be clear anyway).

    First, he noticed that his realms and list of friends has disappeared, after an automatic update from version something.14.8 to something.14.30. This was the same day I changed the password. Actually, they haven't disappeared, as his friends still see the
    realm and can play in it. It's just no longer visible on his Minecraft game (while the Xbox app still lists both friends and realm as perfectly ok).

    On the Xbox app that he has on the same Android tablet phone, the Microsoft account is linked correctly, in the meantime also with the new password.

    When he opens Minecraft, the game asks "which Microsoft account to you want to link?" BUT - the windows is so big that you only get part of the text. The rest is hidden, or possibly simply not there, which means it's impossible to choose any account, the
    only thing one can do is close that window again and return to the start page.

    It has been like this even after de-installation and re-installation of Minecraft and the Xbox App, plus of course various attempts to change the screen resolution (which I couldn't find at all on the tablet, not sure if that is even possible), and to restart
    the phone/tablet. It's a Samsung tablet with a SIM card.

    So - the phone/tablet wants me to choose the Microsoft account, but the visible window won't let me. The only way from that displayed message is back - clicking on the x and returning to the start screen of Minecraft. I'm pretty sure that the problem is
    with Microsoft and/or the window display, nothing really wrong with the game itself.

    What on earth can I do to get back in? Any ideas?

    Dear xSwalshx,

    thank you so much ! I can't believe I never thought of that, how stupid can one be, really...

    Yes, for some reason my son set the fonts to "enorme" (all settings in Italian ;-)), as if he needed glasses. Will take him to the ophthalmologist pronto now. :-D

    that was it, thanks again, quick answer, correct answer, I feel thoroughly stupid, but then again, Mojang support hasn't even bothered to answer to my cry for help from 5 days ago, except to ask for transaction IDs for the purchase. :-(

    Hi Simaq,

    Thanks for contacting us on the Forums!

    This should be an easy fix!

    You know your log in credentials which is perfect. The issue I think it is is a GUI scaling issue. Do you use larger text on your mobile device? If so this will cause the font to be bigger and that is why you cannot see the rest of the options.

    If you can go into your device settings and reduce the font size to normal this should fix your issue.

    • Open your device's Settings app.
    • Tap Accessibility, then tap Font size.
    • Use the slider to choose your font size.

    On your Minecraft Launcher kindly sign out your account and then sign back in choosing “Microsoft Login”.

    I dont have the account my playstation minecraft is linked to anymore, is it truly impossible to unlink it then?

    As the question states the account that my playstation minecraft is linked to doesn't exist anymore is it possible to have microsoft manually unlink them or playstation maybe because I have tried just about everything with no luck and Im at the point I dont think I will be able to play on realms anymore with my friends due to this issue. Really hoping this is a possibility

    If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation® accounts can only be re-linked to the original account.

    Assigning Minecraft account to a diffrent Microsoft account

    Since my Microsoft account was linked to my Minecraft account I lost access to my Minecraft account cause someone deleted my Microsoft account. Now Im not sure what happens but I was wondering if i would be possible to link a diffrent Microsoft account to an already migrated Minecraft account.

    Unfortunately not. If the Microsoft account that your Minecraft account was migrated to was deleted then your Minecraft would be essentially deleted along with it.
