    Minecraft chat


    On anything in minecraft (solo world, multipliplayer world or servers) I can do everything fine but it won't allow me to chat, it just says to go to aka.ms/mcmultiplayerhelp. But I do what it says and allow all the things but it still won't let me chat.
    I play on mobile I can type in the xbox app but not in the game minecraft. Can somebody please help me because I just got hive+ on the hive server and I can't even talk to my friend who gifted it to me. Thanks.

    Minecraft chat doesn't work.

    It’s mainly minecraft, I don’t really play other Xbox titles that require chat, they all have voice chat so it’s only minecraft online

    Sorry for the confusion! The information I provided you above is for Minecraft: Java Edition. To turn off text chat on Minecraft: Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass for PC, follow these steps:

    Start Minecraft and enter a multiplayer server.
    Press the “Home” button on your controller.
    Select “Settings”.
    Select “Audio.”
    Scroll down to “Game Chat” and select “Off.”
    This will disable text chat on Minecraft: Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass for PC. If you want to re-enable chat, simply follow the same steps above and select “On” instead of “Off.”
