Minecraft cartoon texture pack cannot be downloaded (paid version and trial version)

After purchasing the Minecraft cartoon texture pack, it goes to the download screen, pauses for about 30 seconds (~5mb download), then returns with the error message "Can't download this item." No other codes or explanations. The same thing happens with
the trial cartoon texture pack. Any ideas? It seems to be a known issue from another post I found on minecraftforum.net. If this is an indefinite thing, go ahead and credit the buck back into my account. Please and thanks!

Minecraft xbox 360 edition, natural texture pack not working?

So I downloaded the natural texture pack on Minecraft xbox 360 edition, along with a couple other skin packs (all of witch downloaded just fine). But for some reason when I go to apply the natural texture pack to my current world, it says that I'm using
a trial version. I know that the purchase for the full texture pack went through, because It charged my bank account, and I got a message afterward saying that the natural texture pack had been downloaded; but it still says that I only have access to the trial
version. If anybody could give me some ideas on how to fix this (as Microsoft support hasn't done jack for me) it would be much appreciated.

 

Is your gamertag set to the same region (country) that you live in? If not then perhaps that is the issue.

 

I've never had issues buying anything else, ever. Region is correct. I think it's just a bad or corrupt DLC that hasn't been fixed.

 

I can't download it ether. It goes to 1% then back to 0 then says it can't down load this item.

 

My friend and I are having the same exact problem... Another $1.00 down the drain I guess. I've never had problems with downloading stuff before now.

 

Can you all check your hard drives? See if the download is there with exclamation mark. If it is, delete it then clear the cache and restart the console before trying again.

Also, if you are connected via wireless see if you can download it with an ethernet connection to the console.

 

as there seem to be no other issues with downloads or storage devices all i can say is i think it is a problem with there end and not the consoles. i downloaded Dishonored and that was fine but had the texture pack in queue after the game downloaded it went
to download the texture pack and failed giving the same message countless others have had.

as for deleting the "part" downloaded pack, its not there to be deleted and clearing the system cache does nothing to help

Hope they get it sorted soon. i also heard that it may be a problem with them setting up live ready for the Xbox one version of minecraft (who knows)

 

Same problem here. Bounces between 1% and 0% a couple of times then simply says: Can't download thisa item. Suggest its a problem at their end.

 

There is nothing of this file there to delete. Cleared my cache, deleted the market data and started that over, put it on a direct line to the net. And it still will not download that Texture pack. I can download everything else skins, other texture packs
just fine.

Having exactly the same problem as everyone else here. No other download problems before or after, just this one pack won't download. I'm in the UK but from the other posts it looks like it's the same problem in the US too.

Had the same trouble until last night! The Cartoon Texture Pack download worked for me after several failed attempts previously : )
