Minecraft capes not showing up in Launcher, despite redeeming them a day ago.

Hello,

I redeemed both the new Tik Tok cape and the Twitch cape you can now get for watching some Minecraft content creator on those respective platforms. However, after almost 24 hours, the capes have not showed up in the Launcher. I've tried to redeem the same code again, but it says that that code has already been redeemed.

Does it take some time for the capes to show up in the Minecraft Launcher? Or is there an issue with the code redeeming system for those capes?

Thank you SmartLace and offpage seo. I am using the same account on the launcher and on the account I redeemed the codes. However, I exclusively play on Java.

So, if I am correct, the capes are not released for Java edition at the moment? if so, has there been an announced date for them to be released on Java?

If your TikTok and Twitch capes haven’t appeared in the Minecraft Launcher after 24 hours, here are a few things to check:

1. Wait a Bit Longer

Sometimes, cape activations can take up to 48 hours to process.

2. Check Your Microsoft Account

Ensure you’re logged into the correct Microsoft account that you redeemed the capes on.
Visit the Minecraft account settings to see if the capes are listed.

3. Restart the Launcher

Log out and back into the Minecraft Launcher.
Try restarting your PC and launching Minecraft again.

4. Verify Cape Settings

Go to Minecraft Launcher > Skins and check if the capes are selectable.

5. Contact Mojang Support

If the capes still don’t appear, reach out to Mojang Support (help.minecraft.net) for assistance.

Kindly double-check that you're logged into the same Microsoft account where you redeemed the codes. If incase you're using a different account in the Launcher, the capes won't appear.

Please make sure as well that you're using the correct edition of Minecraft. The TikTok and Twitch capes are currently available for the Bedrock Edition, with availability for the Java Edition expected later.

And to give you a heads up, it can take up to 72 hours for redeemed capes to appear in the Minecraft Launcher. This delayed is caused by server-side processing.

The Menace Cape should first appear in the Bedrock Edition dressing room.

Kindly double-check that you're logged into the correct Microsoft account where you redeemed the cape because if you're using a different account in the Minecraft Launcher, the cape won't appear.

And then close and reopen the Minecraft Launcher to refresh your account and sync any redeemed items.

To set your expectation properly, it can take up to 72 hours for it to show up in your Minecraft account. Please know that this delay is normal and caused by server-side processing.
