Minecraft Black Screen After Downloading From Microsoft Store

Hi,

I've tried several times to download Minecraft JAVA onto my laptop. I've deleted and reinstalled, I've restarted my laptop several times but I'm still receiving a black screen in Minecraft launcher. It would be nice if someone could help me with this because I was so excited to finally get to play Minecraft on something other than console or mobile. I'm going to attach a photo of what the screen looks like.
