    Minecraft better together nintendo switch screen size issue


    I have minecraft for the nintendo switch, and have the bedrock edition update. The game plays fine, but when playing split screen on my tv, the picture is larger than the TV, so the hot bars at the bottom of the screen are cut off and you can't see them.
    I did not see any screen adjustment settings anywhere. What do I do?

    Hi, during a recent live-stream a developer stated they had submitted better together for certification on switch, you shouldn't have to wait too much longer to cross platform play with your friends, keep your eyes out for an announcement
    from the Mojang team.

    This sounds like a tech issue with that version of the game. You might want to contact Nintendo support. This is a forum for Xbox and since the Minecraft version of the game on Nintendo is a different version you might not find anyone versed enough to help

    Windows 10 and Xbox 360 Minecraft Crossplay?

    Cross play on Minecraft is only available to xbox one, mobile, nintendo switch and windows 10 devices which has the better together/bedrock edition.

    Realms is only available on these version of the game.

    Can not do cross play between different version of the game.

    Have you an active Nintendo Switch Online Subscription? I ask this because I found the following Q/A on Minecraft Nintendo Switch FAQ:

    Can I play Realms on this edition?

    Yes, Realms is available on the Bedrock edition of Minecraft for Nintendo Switch. To play online on a Nintendo Switch, you need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, so this is a requirement for playing on Realms. More information about Nintendo Switch Online can be found here.
