Minecraft beta - Outdated server error message.

I checked the Insider app and it said beta players cannot join realms or non-beta players. So, I got my answer lol. I had to leave the beta program in order to play with them, but it says pending. I have to wait a while I guess.

Pretty sure beta builds can only play with other beta builds.

beta, you would launch the Xbox insider hub to navigate to Minecraft from there and then select unenroll or "Leave this preview."

The error message you are seeing indicates that your game version is outdated and needs to be updated to the latest version. To fix this, you need to update your game to the latest version available. Here are the steps to do that:

1. Update Your Minecraft Bedrock Client:

• Ensure that your Minecraft Bedrock Edition is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, manual updates are necessary if you haven’t played the game in a while.
  
• To update your client:
  
  • Open the Minecraft Bedrock Edition on your PC through the Xbox app.
    
  • Go to Settings.
    
  • Scroll down and tap on “Profile”.
    
  • Under “Auto Update Unlocked Packs”, select “On with Wi-Fi or Cellular data”.
    
  • Enable “Use Cellular Data”, “Require Encrypted Websockets”, and “Only Allow Trusted Skins”.
    
  • Try joining the realm again to see if the error persists
    

2. Check for Server Mismatch:

  • Open the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox or Windows platform.
    
  • Head to “Insider Content” and select “Minecraft”.
    
  • Click on “Manage” and then choose “Unenroll” to leave the beta preview version.
    
  • Accept the terms and conditions, and the game will reinstall with the normal version
