Minecraft Beta Key Not Working

Greetings,

I have tried to solve this problem before with no success. I decided that I will try again tonight. I tried to use the online chat but that didn't work. The first and last name fields were blank and disabled. That made it impossible to use the online
chat. So, I have to use the forums to post my information. As I have said, I have tried to solve this issue with customer support from both Microsoft and Mojang. According to Mojang, the code is good, but the problem with the purchase needs to be fixed
by Microsoft. The problem is that I had received a code from Mojang to get the Minecraft 10 Beta for free. I had tried to redeem this code but when I did, the web page froze and I eventually had to kill and restart the browser. When I went back in, I found
that the code was now considered redeemed, but I did not receive the Minecraft 10 Beta program.

I had discussed this issue with Microsoft online support before. They had referred me to Mojang support. Mojang support let me know that the code problem needs to be fixed by Microsoft as they can't replace a code. After the initial discussion with Microsoft
support, I had changed my gamer tag for my xbox online account. I thought the one that was automatically generated was silly and I wanted one that was easier to remember. Seems that was a mistake on my part. Now, support doesn't find my original chat as
it's under my old gamer tag and I have no clue as to what it was. If possible, you might be able to retrieve my history based on my email address instead. I will try to post the chat text with this message in case it may help. I have screen shots of the
code redemption as well.

This page is not letting me attach any picture or file from my machine to this message. So, I will request that Microsoft support please contact me directly so I may give them more information. I sincerely hope that we can get this problem resolved.

Beta Download Key Not Working??

Just figured it out. On the system dash, go to "My games and Que", select my games and then scroll all the way to the right. At the very end of your list of games, will be a second list of games ready to install. Destiny beta was in that list.

This problem has been resolved finally. I was able to call Microsoft support to first fix the unknown issues with my account and then had to call Microsoft Store support to fix the problem with the beta key not working. So, for others that have this problem,
please call Microsoft Store support at: 1-877-696-7786.
