    Minecraft Beta 1.6.0.6


    my grandson somehow downloaded Minecraft 1.6.0.6 over his Minecraft and now all he gets is an outdated server note. We have deleted and tried reinstalling Minecraft and just get the same version. He is devistated. Is there a way I can update to the proper
    version. Or delete and download the right version. Sorry I am not very smart when it comes to VG systems

    Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

    Here's to Minecraft Beta Version:

    I've fed up the Minecraft since I've played Minecraft Beta version is pretty long hours and it has never been happened for when It didn't convert from Beta to Build version. I uninstalled the Minecraft and can you please generate the app
    for that before I reinstall the Minecraft. Any solution would be appreciated! Thanks!

    Hello,

    If you are talking about the Xbox version it sounds like he has gotten himself into the insider version of the game.

    Follow these steps to leave said beta.

    The insider Hub is under "My games and Apps then just Apps.

    To get to this

    1. His the Xbox button on controller

    2. Push down once to get 'My games and apps" Select it

    3. Select "See all"

    3. Tap down once.

    4. Find the "Xbox insider hub"

    5. Select "Insider content"

    6. One of the tabs should say "Minecraft" Select it

    7. Then you should be able to unenroll.

    After that follow the extra steps below.

    1. Open the Xbox Insider Hub app and unenroll from the beta.
    2. Uninstall Minecraft.
    3. Hard reset the Xbox console by holding down the power button until the console turns off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the console back on.
    4. Reinstall Minecraft from the Ready to Install section of Games & Apps.

    Is it possible that your friends signed up for the Minecraft Beta in the Insider App?

    If that's the case, your friends either need to leave the Minecraft Beta and play on the "regular" version, or you'll have to install the Xbox Insider App, and join the Minecraft Beta as well.
