    Minecraft; Bedrock’s Chat System


    I play a lot of Mineplex, and recently when I went to make a new creative house it kep saying normal words were bad words and wouldn’t accept it. Stuff like “H” or “My House” were apparently bad words. When I looked it up on the Mineplex Forums it said I could have a Shadow/Ghost Mute where I can chat, but nobody can see my chat. They said to test it out by spamming chat and if it didn’t block the same message that I spammed I have been shadow muted. I tried everything they stated and tye last thing they said was to contact Xbox Support in which every option won’t allow me to chat with a “support agent”. So does anyone know how to fix a shadow/ghost mute on Minecraft? The mute goes for all servers and multiplayer on anyones world. Help.

    I would like to open minecraft on my xbox one, I previously bought it for xbox 360

    Minecraft is not on BWC and the bedrock edition doesnt transfer between systems. You'll need to buy the xbox one version.

    Why is my Minecraft chat not working?

    To fix the 'Can't chat in Minecraft” error, go to Options > Chat settings and change the settings from Command Only to Shown. This will let you talk and share your thoughts
    with all the other creative Minecraft players. If chat is still unavailable, disconnect from the game and then enable the connection again. Also a way to fix is hard resetting your game by quitting out of the game launching
    another and then quit that, turn off Xbox, and unplug it. Let it set for 10 then try again.
    In the newest update to bedrock these options are no longer there. As the UI has changed for Minecraft bedrock edition.

    I would assume you are trying to download on a windows pc.

    You will have to install the minecraft launcher first.

    To play Minecraft: Java Edition, download and install the correct launcher for your operating system. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Java Edition.

    To play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, you will need a device running Windows 10 or 11 to download and install the newest version of the Launcher, within which you can launch and play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

    Need Help accessing the other version of Minecraft after both were given if you only owned one of them?

    If it's only Minecraft it means that it is the Minecraft Bedrock Edition that is for Xbox only, the license of Minecraft Bedrock for PC is a different license. This is why we're experiencing the issue, xTCN123x.
