Minecraft Bedrock: unable to connect to brother's world but I can join other's worlds

Hello, I have the minecraft bedrock edition on my pc. And my brothers both have the bedrock version on ps4. I can join one of my brother's world, and other friends of me. But I cant join my other brother's world. His world does shows up at the friends tab, but when i join, it says unable to connect to world. It only happens when I try to join him. I've tried countless tutorials, i've changed the privacy settings in xbox settings to allow crossplatform friends to join. I've reinstalled minecraft, unfriended and friended my brother multiple times. So I really don't know what to do. My other brother can indeed join him. But i just can't it.

Sorry to hear about what happened. It looks like everything is fine with your privacy settings and with your brother's account privacy settings because your other brother can also join him and you can join his other worlds too.

I believe that this may be a bug on the Minecraft's side. I recommend that you send a ticket directly to Minecraft Support team for them to properly investigate the issue here https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/request/new.

My friend and i have had this ongoing problem where he is unable to connect to my worlds but i can connect to his (connecting to my worlds works just fine for others) and we have no idea why. and advise or support will be helpful. Thanks.

If you cannot add friends or join their world, follow these steps to fix the issue:

Both Java and Bedrock players can experience trouble adding people or joining their world due to their Microsoft account privacy settings.

You may be having trouble joining other people's world because of your NAT status (This depends on your network configuration, but it can be fixed)

Your friend may not have his world set as "Open to LAN" or if he is hosting the server on a PC, his ports are maybe closed which is why you can't join.

Your firewall might be preventing you from joining the world

What version of Minecraft is this? Java? Can you provide some more details on the world and setup? How are you trying to connect? What version of Minecraft are you trying to use to join and what version of whatever edition is the world created in? There
are some versions that are cross-play (Bedrock Editions), and others that do not (Xbox One Edition, Java edition).

What errors do you get specifically when it doesn't let you join?

We can help troubleshoot, but will need a bit more information to get to the bottom of it.
