    Minecraft Bedrock Purchases Vanished?


    Okay, so I have Bedrock Edition Minecraft on my Switch, and lately I decided to sign in on my Microsoft so I could back up my purchases. I was happily playing on one of my worlds when suddenly my game crashed - perfectly normal for me. So, I restarted
    the software, and all my purchases were gone, except for my free stuff and current minecoins. If any one could help me, that would be great. I spent quite a bit of money on it.

    Hi Morrigan,

    I understand your frustrations! I have seen this issue come up a lot lately on the forums. I would assume its being worked on right now. I would not advise to try and repurchase anything. The only thing you can do is wait and be patient until the issue is
    resolved.

    Keep in mind from your feedback and other forum posts I have seen numerous attemps on a resolution with no luck. Which leads me to believe its a Minecraft/Xbox sided issue. That we have no control over.

    Here is your usual self diagnosis. Hold down the power button until system turns off. Turn back on and check.

    Hi ID, my name is Oskayra and I will be happy to help you.

    No, if you purchase Minecraft Bedrock on PS4 and link your Microsoft account with your PS4 account, it will not sync the purchase with the accounts. Minecraft Bedrock purchases are tied to the platform on which they are made. If you purchase Minecraft Bedrock on PC, you will only be able to play it on PC. If you purchase Minecraft Bedrock on PS4, you will only be able to play it on PS4.

    However, there is an exception to this rule. If you buy Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you will also be able to play Minecraft Bedrock on your mobile device. This is because Minecraft Java Edition and Minecraft Bedrock are compatible with the "Minecraft Live" feature.

    If you just want to play the Minecraft you paid for on your PC, you don't need to buy Minecraft Bedrock for PS4. You can download the free version of Minecraft: Java Edition from the Minecraft website.

    Here are some steps to download the free version of Minecraft: Java Edition:

    Visit the Minecraft website.
    Click on the "Download Minecraft" button.
    Select "Minecraft: Java Edition".
    Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the download.
    Once you have downloaded Minecraft: Java Edition, you will be able to play it on your PC.

    Log-in issues

    The issue here is related to platform licensing differences, Minecraft Bedrock Edition on mobile (tablet) and Bedrock Edition on Windows PC are technically separate purchases, even though they’re both part of the Bedrock ecosystem.

    If you want to play on both devices, you’ll need to purchase Minecraft for Windows separately.
