Minecraft Bedrock - multiple Computer logins

Hello,

I purchased Minecraft Windows 10 (bedrock edition) on my computer login, and it has downloaded onto my computer in my "user" location in windows explorer.

a few months later to take advantage of parental controls, I created a new windows login for my son. The intention was so that he could log on and be granted time, and play minecraft bedrock.

The problem is that when he logs onto his windows account, we cannot launch minecraft bedrock (e.g. the flat minecraft icon with black background). It is not on the task bar, and when I have looked on "user/[his user name]/AppData/Local/Packages", minecraft is not there. It only appears on "user/[my user name]/....."

The question:

- is there a way to move the minecraft files, from my user directory into a public directory, so that both windows logins can access the same game?

-If not, how do I transfer it so that he can play minecraft on his windows account? I have tried transferring the files in windows explorer but it tells me one of the files or folders is in use, and what's more i would be nervous that I wouldn't be able to launch the game because his taskbar doesn't have the minecraft icon.

Please help. Currently he asks me to "log him on" so that he can play this game, and then getting him off is a nightmare. Defeats the whole purpose of parental controls if the only game he wants to play is on my windows account.

sign in pc with his name, open the store and click the three dots top right and sign out, sign into the store with your credentials and then download minecraft.

once downloaded sign out of the store and sign back into the store with his name then restart pc, enjoy the game.

You can install Minecraft on multiple devices but only for one account!

I think you can go up to 10 different devices!

Based on your description, you are asking if it is okay to purchase a new Minecraft Bedrock on the same Microsoft Account that has already an existing Minecraft Bedrock account. I would be happy to answer your question.

To answer your question, it is not possible for you to have two Minecraft Bedrock account on the same Microsoft Account. You will need to have a separate Microsoft Account if you want to purchase a new Minecraft account. Probably the most likely reason there are 2 Minecrafts on ur computer is because one is Java and one is Bedrock and if I'm right now Java and bedrock are included in a bundle which is now the standard edition of Minecraft
