    Minecraft bedrock edition xbox one splitscreen not working


    So me and my friend were wanting to play splitscreen on minecraft to find out it won't work. What happens is it asks him to sign in and he does but the game doesn't even budge to put us in splitscreen it just stays normal with me alone in the world. So we try again and it asks him to choose his profile and he did still no splitscreen just me alone in the world. So I did some research and couldn't find nothing just stuff saying make sure the tv resolution is 720 or above which ny tv is a 4k tv and it's set to that. So now all I can do is ask the community for help anyone know a solution?

    That's odd. Reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>

    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    ***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

    Click with the menu button on the game icon and go to manage game and add-ons and in saved data delete the ''reserved space'', clean your console's mac, restart when prompted, and try again.

    to clean the mac follow this path
    settings>general>network settings>advanced settings>alternative mac address and click clear and restart the console when prompted.

    If the problem persists, try reinstalling the game.

    DLC for Minecraft works for Xbox 360 and Xbox one edition. it doesn't work for bedrock version.
