    Minecraft Bedrock Edition will not load on XBox One


    Hello all, my son has recently upgraded the Minecraft Xbox One edition to the Bedrock edition. This version shows up as 1.11.402.70. Since the update the fails to load but brings up the message: Not Sure What Happened There, Give It Another Try (0x80070005).
    We have looked up the code and noticed it is a generic Microsoft error code. We have undertaken a soft reset of the console as well as resetting the Games and Apps option. This has not resolved the issue. We have not yet uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
    Please help.

    How do i know if i am running bedrock edition of Minecraft?

    Check the title of the game in your Games and Apps. If it's just Minecraft than it's the bedrock edition. If it's Minecraft Xbox One Edition, it's not.

    If you have Minecraft: Xbox One Edition you should automatically get Minecraft Bedrock Edition for Free. Hope this helps!

    It should work allowing you to import that file, especially if it doesn't give you an error. Usually after the import it will show up at the very bottom of the list of worlds, and appear to be "greyed" out initially. It will not populate the details (other
    than the name, I think) until you load the world up.

    And to clarify, the edition of Minecraft on the PC is either going to be the Java version or the Bedrock edition. The Xbox One version of Minecraft that is supported is the Bedrock edition. There is an Xbox One Edition of Minecraft that is different, and
    not compatible with the Bedrock edition on Xbox One or Windows 10; so I would recommend you double check and ensure that you're working in the same "edition".

    After importing it should appear in the list, but you might want to try to quit out of the app, restart your computer and try again. I've done that action and have not had any issues with it.
