Minecraft bedrock edition profanity issues overkill

Hi,

This is somewhat feedback and also somewhat dissapointment in how the profanity filter works in realms for bedrock edition.

my Nickname is censored... D-X3M, , Matthness, is all censored on signs, although not censored in chat.

This is profanity overkill, as there is NO way these are cursewords, or in any close resemblance to any sort of misconduct.

This needs to be addressed because it's just so stupid.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the Xbox forums with this issue. Regarding the Minecraft Realms chats, you may wish to address this or request further information regarding it from Mojang as they are the developers of the game and run those particular
in-game chats as well as the signage. You may also try raising this question on the Minecraft forums to see if anyone else is having a difficult time or same issue as yourself.

Well thanks for the reply, but they said the exact same thing, to contact xbox support.

So that's why I guess these issues remains unresolved, regarding bedrock edition in general.

That's a shame to hear they're giving you that sort of response. This is something programmed into the censors and coding from Minecraft/Mojang's end, and Microsoft Support has no power to change a game's coding. I would suggest trying again, as maybe you
got a response from someone who wasn't fully knowledgeable enough on the matter to give an accurate response. Best of luck.

If it's only Minecraft it means that it is the Minecraft Bedrock Edition that is for Xbox only, the license of Minecraft Bedrock for PC is a different license. This is why we're experiencing the issue, xTCN123x.

The issue here is related to platform licensing differences, Minecraft Bedrock Edition on mobile (tablet) and Bedrock Edition on Windows PC are technically separate purchases, even though they’re both part of the Bedrock ecosystem.

If you want to play on both devices, you’ll need to purchase Minecraft for Windows separately.
